Adriana Pincherle (Rome, 1909 - Florence, 1996). Coming from an upper-class Roman family, after completing classical studies, she enrolled in the free school of the nude. She made her artistic debut in 1931 at the "First Roman exhibition of female art" at the Gallery of Rome on the occasion of which she was noticed by Roberto Longhi. In 1933 he went to Paris where he approached the painting of the Impressionists and Matisse. Between 1934 and 1935 he exhibited two works at the II Quadrennial, took part in the traveling Exhibition of Contemporary Italian Art in the USA and in 1936 exhibited at the Galleria della Cometa. The artist dedicates himself above all to the creation of portraits.
