Gustavo Pisani was born in Naples in 1877 and attended the Academy of Fine Arts in his city under the guidance of Filippo Palizzi. He obtained numerous awards and managed to distinguish himself in all areas of art: from painting landscapes and figures, to illustrations, up to collaboration in the journalistic field. Thanks to his talent, the Maestro was present in various exhibitions, both nationally and internationally, always achieving excellent results. What made his long artistic career glorious was his ability to convey a lyrical note to his paintings, evident in the way he loved to capture the most delicate aspects of nature and things, always carefully choosing the subjects to represent. Gustavo Pisani died in 1948.
