Francesco Pogliaghi Biography
Francesco Pogliaghi (1979 - ) Born in Madrid and then moved very often with his family throughout Europe, thanks to family nomadism this young painter and street artist was able to come into contact with the first European manifestations of public art. The encounter with graffiti dates back to 1996 and it was immediately love at first sight: the very young Pogliaghi attended conventions, coming into contact with the most prestigious exponents both Italian and foreign. His graffiti evolves from year to year, develops graphically and increasingly contaminates the artist's creative productions. Pogliaghi also tries his hand at the most diverse expressive techniques, acquiring a broad and specific knowledge of the processing of materials: in his production we find illustrations, sculpture, material works, studies of metaphysical structures, chromatic experiments. However, the dominant motif of his productions is always the urban sign that becomes a drawing: the calligraphic sign, the "tag", in fact becomes an illustration, figure, drawing, concept.
