Diego Poloniato (Bassano, 1967). He graduated as a Master of Art in 1985 at the Institute of Ceramic Art. Starting in 1990 he began working on his own as a craftsman and obtained numerous prizes and recognitions. The subjects he chose were roosters, cockerels, hussars on horseback, clowns and dolls, pinocchios and animals. All work is carried out with high temperature materials, vitrified and treated with pure oxides. From a technical point of view, the artist uses mixtures of various colors which determine various chromatic effects. Each of his pieces is unique because it is not created from already prepared shapes or moulds.
