Porcu Mario (Villamassargia, 1917 - Savona, 2001) Mario Porcu was an Italian sculptor. He settled in Albissola Marina, where he created his most important works. His first exhibition was held in the room of the Bar Testa, presented by his friend Aligi Sassu and from this moment a series of exhibitions followed in Italy and abroad, from the United States to Japan. His artistic style took inspiration from the spatialist movement of Lucio Fontana, from the forms of Giuseppe Capogrossi, from the palette of Asger Jorn. In 1963 he participated in the creation of one of the most important works of Albissola Marina, entitled "Passeggiata degli Artisti", together with artists such as Capogrossi, Crippa, Fontana, Fabbri, Luzzati, Sassu.
