Luciano Porta Biography
Luciano Porta was born in Quistello in 1953. He considers himself a "professional in the fine arts sector" and works between painting, conservative restoration (in which he specializes), decoration, setting up exhibitions and theatrical sets, finding the own identity in the profound mental connection between the work of art and one's interiority.
As an art communicator, Luciano Porta usually holds conferences in elementary, middle and high schools. He has several personal exhibitions behind him, such as the one organized at Palazzo Gallio (Gravedona, 1991), in Galleria Montenapoleone (Milan, 2000), at the Arengario in Monza (2001), at Marina di S. Nicola (Rome, 2010), and "Emotional diaries" hosted by Arte Elite (Lesmo, 2011). He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, receiving important recognitions, such as the "International Grand Prize Torre dei Palagi" (1984, first prize), the "International City of Trivero Prize" (1992), "Verona Arte" (1998), " Art's Milano" (1999), "Spazio Lattuada" Milano (2004) and the "World Museum - Cesano Maderno Contemporary Art Museum", which requested a work dedicated to him (2008). One of his works is also part of the Duilio Zanni Collection exhibited at the Permanente in Milan.
