Possenti Antonio (Lucca, 1933-2016) Antonio Possenti dedicated himself to self-taught painting, starting from drawing and illustration. He traveled extensively and met different people and cultures, always returning to Lucca, where he opened his own studio. He exhibited in the main Italian and foreign galleries and participated in numerous international exhibitions, such as the Bologna Art Fair, Milan, Art Basel in Basel, FIAC in Paris, Art Fair in Los Angeles, Art Miami in Miami Beach, New York International Art Fair. He exhibited in personal exhibitions in various prestigious environments: Royal Palace of Caserta, Castel dell'Ovo in Naples, Palazzo Ducale in Massa, Sala d'Armi of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. He received prizes and recognitions and his works are preserved in important private and public collections.
