Prada Carlo (Milan, 1884-1960) Carlo Prada studied at the Brera Academy in Milan and initially joined Divisionism, before moving closer to the ideas of the "Twentieth Century group". After 1930 he approached Chiarismo, a movement whose name is linked to the choice of light and bright colours, in contrast with the heavy chiaroscuro of Mario Sironi. Subsequently he dedicated himself to portraits, and then devoted himself to landscapes, especially views of Liguria.
