Piero Principi was born in Ancona on 28 May 1966 and has been involved in photography for about twenty years. He has participated in courses and workshops in Italy and abroad, all dedicated to Light. In 2004 he won first prize in the international photographic publishing competition in the "art books" section in Orvieto with his "Listening Objective". The following year, again on the occasion of "Orvieto Fotografia", he won third prize at the "Professional Photography Awards" in the advertising photography category and received a special mention in the reportage category. For some years he has been writing a column on photographic technique in the most popular Italian photography magazine, “Tutti ufficio” and his second publication on lighting technology has just been released. He holds courses on lighting techniques reserved for professional photographers.
