Prinsep Valentine Cameron (Calcutta, 1838 - London, 1904) Valentine Cameron Prinsep was an English painter of the Pre-Raphaelite school. After studying under Watts he continued his studies at the Marc-Charles-Gabriel Gleyre atelier in Paris. The artist exhibited his works at the Royal Academy of Arts in 1862. In 1877 he went to India and painted a large image of Delhi Durbar, exhibited in 1880 at the Royal Academy, where it was presented to Queen Victoria and later at Buckingham Palace.
