Proietti Norberto (Spello, 1927-2009) Norberto Proietti was an Italian painter and sculptor. He initially showed his interest in architecture and in 1939 he moved to Rome to work with his uncle at his tailor's shop. During his career, he was greatly inspired by Giotto's frescoes in the Basilica of San Fracesco and the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Spello. In 1950 he returned to Spello, where he decided to open his own tailoring workshop and from 1961 he dedicated himself exclusively to painting, staging exhibitions abroad. In 1971 Cesare Zavattini awarded him the Suzzara Prize. Norberto specialized in painting still lifes, nocturnes, Roman countryside, musicians, interiors, wheat.
