Paolo Proietti was born in 1959 in Spello, in the province of Perugia. His artistic training took place thanks to the teaching of his father Gallieno and his uncle Norberto, both internationally renowned artists. Since he was a boy, Proietti showed an interest in painting and learned to paint by studying Giotto's frescoes in the Basilica of Assisi.
The inspiration for his art comes from the environment rich in history and spirituality in which he lives, specifically from the famous flower displays of Spello which he uses as a source of inspiration for the colors of his works. The artist thus develops an original and exclusive art, using a mixed technique that allows him to get closer in a real way to the nature of floral compositions, made with flower petals in strong and decisive colours.
Proietti's artistic career began in 1980, participating in "meetings in the streets" in Spello, his hometown. In the following years the Maestro participated in significant exhibitions in public places or important private galleries throughout Italy, always achieving considerable success with the public and critics.
Paolo Proietti's painting is characterized by its originality, but above all by his mastery in the use of pictorial techniques, in which sunny and bold colors offer a unique and engaging experience for spectators.
