Marco Puerari Biography
Marco Puerari (1975 – ), born in 1975, trained in Genoa: first he attended the art high school, then the academy and further in-depth courses and internships. In front of Puerari's paintings we return to being external and somewhat apprehensive spectators: caught in a state of expectation, perhaps of alert, accentuated by the unnatural perspectives and the thin dust that envelops the images. In those no-man's lands, in those border landscapes between nature and the city, we are instinctively called to grasp the signs of the territory. Among the exhibitions in which he participated: Laboratory exhibition, “Murales”, Genoa, 1996; Collective of young artists “Contaminazione”, Genoa, 1997; collective illustration “Sarabanda Festival”, Genoa, 1997; following the “Germination Europe” Workshop, the exhibition “Germinations, passage to Europe”, Bologna European City of Culture, 2000; “Genova 4002” - “Let alone” - “Parallel Signs between Urbino and Genoa”, Genoa, 2004; “Dark City”, Genoa, 2004; “Urban signs”, Genoa, 2005.
