Pascal Pugliese is a painter and portraitist, born in Naples. Graduated from the Art Institute of Naples, he is a "Master in applied art". At the end of the eighties he lived in Florence and was a pupil of Pietro Annigoni. In 1994 he was awarded the academic title of honor at the Accademia degli Abbruzzi for Sciences and Arts. He has exhibited in various Italian and foreign cities. In 1999 he participated in Art Philadelphia. He participated in the Art Expo in New York and many other events. His is a painting that seems to come from an ancient fresco painted on the bottom of a wall. The artist has chosen to apply a mixed technique thanks to which his works play on the elements used by ancient fresco painters. He applies marble dust, oxides and sand to wooden supports in a highly personal alchemical game. But first he mixes them using glues to obtain the material base on which he can then work to create graffiti, reliefs and engravings; then he proceeds to apply acrylic colours, creating colors and counterpoints that highlight the composition, giving it completely unusual vibrations.
