Rosario Pulvirenti (1899-1966) Cosmopolitan and eclectic painter, he trained by assiduously frequenting the museums of Florence. Having settled in Rome, he was fascinated by the avant-gardes of the twentieth century. He set up several exhibitions in Italy, obtaining acclaim from the public and critics. Recurring themes of his canvases are: landscapes, portraits and religious subjects. Giovanni Pulze has become an international artist, appreciated everywhere for having immortalized glimpses and views of the most well-known and famous cities in the world such as Venice, Paris, New York - but also lesser-known centers such as Udine, Villach and Ljubljana - developing and extending a concept of human equality permeated with elegant and vibrant vital presence. The author's intent is to give urban and metropolitan views a sense of pulsating human presence where human beings are undefined, unknowable, hidden by umbrellas, hoods and caught in anonymous and ordinary moments of everyday life.
