Alvaro Querzoli (1955 - ) born on 6 January 1955 in Brazil is a painter living in Switzerland. Among his recent research, in particular, to illustrate the situation of countries at war, he burns black powder on his paintings. Born in Lajes (Sta. Catarina) in Brazil, he studied painting at the Panamerican School of Art in São Paulo-Brazil. He then graduated in artistic painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 1987. Alvaro has explored all the currents of contemporary painting, with numerous exhibitions in Italy, Switzerland and Brazil and has participated in several artistic videos, written posters, among of which the last in the form of a short film "My border" a film directed by Melchior Films and co-produced by TSR (Television Suisse Romande)-2006.
