Rabarama Biography

Rabarama (Rome, 1969). Daughter of art, from an early age she clearly demonstrated her propensity for sculpture. He attended the Treviso State Art High School and the Venice Academy of Fine Arts where he graduated with full marks in 1991. He successfully participated in national and international competitions. In 1990 she was chosen as the Italian representative at the Toluca international competition by the Mexican government, on the occasion of which she created a two-metre sculpture. 1995 represents a very important year for the artist because he begins his collaboration with the Dante Vecchiato gallery and the themes that will distinguish his works are developed such as the denial of free will, the predestination of events and man conceived as a being computerized. Since 1990 the artist has lived in Padua where he collaborates with the Vecchiato Art Gallery and sets up exhibitions of unpublished works with multimedia presentations, bodypainting sets and avant-garde music. He receives various awards both in Italy and abroad and participates in international events, including the event in collaboration with Frank Muller in Geneva in 2007; the solo exhibition at the Fundacion Sebastian in Mexico City in 2005; the exhibition at the He Xiangning Art Museum in Shenzhen, in the Millennium Contemporary Art Museum in Beijing and in the Shanghai Contemporary Art Museum in 2004; the Beijing International prize for young artistic research, at the Beijing Biennial in 2003; the solo exhibition at the Palazzo Bricherasio Foundation in Turin in 2001. His sculptures are very large in size, made of metal and are generally placed on the ground. His works are like puzzles tattooed on the body.
