Ricchi Pietro (Lucca, 1605 - Udine, 1675) Pietro Ricchi was an Italian painter. He studied with Domenico Passignano and Guido Reni in Bologna and spent a period in France, where he decorated some rooms of palaces and villas in fresco with the help of the painter Paolo Biancucci. In 1634 he went to Brescia, Milan and one of his oldest works is preserved in the Diocesan Museum: “The Virgin with Saints”. He was influenced by the baroque style of Gian Giacomo Barbelli and in 1650 he worked in Venice, taking inspiration from the works of Veronese and also taking inspiration from Tintoretto, Maffei, Liberi, Mazzoni. In 1663 he moved to Vicenza and collaborated with Giulio Carpioni.
