Milan 1866 - 1946 He was a pupil of G. Bertini at the Milanese Brera Academy, where he made his debut in 1885 with a monumental view from life. Until the first decades of the twentieth century he exhibited regularly at the Braidense exhibitions (1902, Prime nebbie, Milan, Accademia di Brera) and at those of the Permanente, moving in the wake of a calm adherence to truth. He alternated figurative subjects with landscapes inspired by the Vigezzo valley and the Lombardy lakes (Sunray, exhibited at the Permanente in 1915, Milan, Galleria d'Arte Moderna).
