Roiter Fulvio (Meolo, 1926 - Venice, 2016) Fulvio Roiter was an Italian photographer, an expert in black and white photography. He used to use a particular technique, with which he concentrated on some details of the places and the scene. From 1953 photography became his professional activity and in 1949 he joined the photographic club La Gondola of Venice. In 1953 he undertook his photographic journey to Sicily and published the shots a year later in the magazine "Camera". In the same year he published his first black and white photography book “Venise a fleur d'eau” and in 1956 he won the second edition of the Nadar Prize. He achieved international success with his shots of Venice, from which the book “Essere Venezia” (1977) was born. During his career Roiter made many trips to all parts of the world, publishing many volumes of photographs.
