Giuseppe Rossi Biography
Born in Rome in 1958, he lives in Manziana where he began painting from the age of 16 and began his first experiences in collective and extemporaneous exhibitions. At the age of twenty in '78 he had his first solo show in Soriano nel Cimino VT, attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Viterbo, and entered the studios of important artists, one above all Pedro Cano. He moved to Soriano nel Cimino. In 2010 he founded "Dendronaturalismo" in his paintings there are the centenary, thousand-year-old trunks of chestnut and olive trees, but sometimes shapes emerge that are so much more, the imagination flies among those black holes and in the meanders of lines that they chase. He exhibits in many Italian cities, Rome, Turin, Forlì, Florence, Arezzo, Padua, Spoleto, Carrara, Viterbo, Amelia, Bomarzo, Porto Cervo, Arco di Trento, Marina di Pietrasanta, Durazzo (Albania), Miami (USA) , etc.. He participates in the Florence biennial where he receives important recognition from the international jury with a special prize in 2011, he is awarded at the Spoleto Festival, at the Soriano Centro Prize, he participates in the Durres biennial in Albania, he takes part in collective important: in Spoleto together with the critic Giammarco Puntelli, at the Rome Triennale with Achille Bonito Oliva, at the Affordable Art Faire at the MACRO in Rome, at the Villa Vecchia Museum in Villa Doria Pamphili Rome, he is present at the Euart - Spectrum Art Basel Miami USA , participates in the first International Biennial of Rome. It is present in the Mondadori catalogs and in the 50th edition of the CAM (catalogue of Modern Art). Since 2010 he has been part of the Astrolabio Gallery in Rome and since May 2014 he has collaborated with the Orler Style Channel gallery, Affordable Art Point.
