Antenore Rovesti, born in 1957 in Parma where he lives and carries out his artistic activity since the second half of the Eighties. His attitude is expressed in the citation of multiple elements, which can be distant in time but also extremely close. The artist's canvases, therefore, are capable of arousing multiple suggestions in the user through glossy and glossy images, which however do not fail to contradict immediacy to leave a sensation of metaphysical depth. Rovesti's pictorial production ranges from the objectual, to the female nude, to pop quotations, up to specifically surreal images. The collection of the Museum of Urban Art of Turin currently boasts the presence of three works by Antenore Rovesti: two blind windows in via Rocciamelone 12, and a work under the display case of the Galleria Campidoglio in via Fabrizi 38.
