Sambonet Roberto (Vercelli, 1924 - Milan, 1995) Roberto Sambonet was a designer from Milan. He studied architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan, before moving to Sao Paulo in Brazil and dedicating himself to painting, collaborating with Bardi. From 1953 he worked at the cutlery and pottery factory, founded in Vercelli in 1823, bringing innovations from both a technical and formal point of view. He also dedicated himself to the design of tools and fabrics, and to the staging of exhibitions (Milan Triennale, Rinascente), obtaining many awards.
