Sanfourche Jean-Joseph (Bordeaux, 1929 - Saint Leonard de Noblat, 2010) Jean-Joseph Sanfourche was a French artist, sculptor and painter. He was the author of paintings, sculptures, enamels, engravings and totems. In his works we often find the figure of the smiling young man with big eyes and a characteristic of his work lies in the fact that his name is an integral part of the work, rather than a simple signature. He also uses unusual materials such as flint or human bone material. During his artistic career he met various personalities, such as Jean Dubuffet, Robert Doisneau, Marcel Jouhandeau.
