Massimo Sansavini Biography
Massimo Sansavini was born in Forlì in 1961. He was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna, where he deepened his knowledge of wood restoration and the use of industrial resins in the artistic field. Between 1999 and 2003, he participated in the prestigious Art Biennial of Sao Paulo, Brazil, in which the catalog of exhibitions was curated by Torcular and enriched with critical essays by Fabio Maghalaes, Tommaso Trini and Giuseppe Bonini. In 2004, Sansavini made his appearance on the Italian television scene, collaborating on the creation of various sets for programs such as "In Famiglie" and "Piazza Grande", under the direction of Michele Guardì and the direction of Rai. Subsequently, he was involved in the exhibition "From Picasso to Botero", hosted by the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Arezzo and the Palazzo Albertini in Forlì. Sansavini was also present at numerous important exhibitions - both national and international - including Art Miami in Florida, the 54th International Art Exhibition in Venice. Finally, it is important to mention that in April 2020, the "Touroperator" exhibition received the high patronage of the President of the European Parliament David Sassoli.
