Miguel Sanson Biography
Miguel Sansón Serván, born in Almoharín, Cáceres, in 1961, is a multifaceted artist active in the fields of sculpture, design and painting. Ideas and creations emerge from his workshop that are echoed by a wide audience. His creative process comes from the use of paper and pencil, with which he captures and draws his own ideas. His first artistic experiences developed within his father's workshop, a blacksmith by trade, where he came into contact with iron, which constitutes the basis of his work and the material he has always mastered. Subsequently, Sansón felt the need to express himself through the creation of chairs, sculptures, tables, headboards, lithographs, paintings, and participated in a large number of exhibitions both in Spain and abroad, focusing mainly on New York and Florence. During his career he has received numerous awards, including the prestigious First Prize for Young European Entrepreneurs Extremadura in the "Euroawards" Expansion and Innovation category in 2002.
