Carlo Santi, born in Milan in 1925, was a renowned Italian architect and urban planner. Initially, Santi served a short period of apprenticeship in the studio of Giovanni Muzio, and then dedicated himself to the study of the urban context of Milan and Lombardy in general. In addition to having gained notoriety in the field of urban planning, Santi has also contributed significantly in the architectural field. An example of this contribution was his involvement in the planning of the IACP Chiesa Rossa district of Milan, the work of which took place in the period between 1960 and 1966. Furthermore, he contributed to the creation of the television post-production studios known as GreenMovie. Over the course of his career, Santi published several notable texts, including "The use of mathematical models in the field of urban studies" in 1967 and "More working, More living" in 1972. Santi died in 2004.
