Vincenzo Satta was born in Nuoro in 1937.
He studied at the Art Institute of Sassari and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
During the 1960s, Satta overcame figurativity and concentrated on geometric language, expressing his symbolic-representative intentions. He has exhibited in public and private spaces, including the Galleria delle Ore in Milan, the Sala Comunale d'Arte Contemporanea in Alessandria and at the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara.
In the 1980s, Satta undertook a morphological turn, with a different imaginative tension that was no longer based on geometry.
