Eduardo Scala is an acclaimed Spanish artist and poet born in 1945 in Madrid. He is known for his innovative artistic production that represents verbo-visual poetry. Through the use of graphic signs and a particular spatial arrangement, Scala is able to create an impressive plastic iconography in his work. His excellent artistic career was further strengthened on the occasion of the Lucio Muñoz Graphic Art, Villa de Madrid Awards, in 2008, thanks to his particular exhibition held in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Madrid (MAC). Furthermore, he has exhibited his works in many other important institutions, such as the Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art of Madrid, the Congress of Deputies and the Pelayo 47 Gallery. Eduardo Scala's extraordinary artistic production, therefore, represents a source of great inspiration and innovation within the Spanish artistic panorama.
