Milanese. Exponent of existential realism together with Vaglieri, Banchieri, Ceretti, Romagnoni, Ferroni, Guerreschi, and, later, Cazzaniga, Luporini and Martinelli. He studied at the Brera Academy in Aldo Carpi's school from 1953 to 1957. He participated in numerous exhibitions, winning various prizes. Many of his works can be found in numerous Italian and foreign collections. His first solo exhibition was at the Bergamini Gallery in Milan in 1957, the year in which he received the 2nd San Fedele Prize.
