Scattola Ferruccio (Venice, 1873 - Rome, 1950) Ferruccio Scattola was a self-taught artist, who began to paint by observing reality. He treated many genres, from landscape to portrait, infusing a certain melancholy into the canvases, especially within the landscapes. He always managed to communicate the emotional expressiveness of the figures, maintaining a harmony of the composition. He exhibited his first works at the Permanente in Venice and at the Venice Biennales from 1897. Some of his works are preserved at the Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, at the Stampalia Museum in Venice, at the Marangoni Museum in Udine, at the Revoltella Museum in Trieste.
