Paolo Schiavocampo was born in Palermo in 1924, he moved to Milan in 1948. He studied architecture in Rome and Milan. His artistic training was enriched by attending the Academies of Venice and Milan together with Manzù. He stayed in New York collaborating with Scarpitta in 1964. His works were presented at the Museo del Castello, Pavia, in 1974; Macerata Art Gallery Museum 1979; F. De Bellis Museum, California State University, in 1979; Gibellina Museum, in 1980 and 1987; the Bochum Museum purchased seven of his works in 1995.
