Schultz Richard (1926) Richard Schultz is an American furniture designer. After studying at Iowa State University and the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, he joined Knoll in 1951, to work with Harry Bertoia. He also studied basic design at the Philadelphia College of Art and had an exhibition of his sculptures at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 1992 he founded Richard Schultz Designs in Pennsylvania together with his son Peter.
