Schuyff Peter (Baarn, 1958) Peter Schuyff is a Dutch painter and sculptor. In 1967 he moved to Vancouver, Canada with his family. The artist was fascinated by the art world of the 1960s and 1970s, especially figures such as Andy Warhol and Willem de Kooning. He studied art at the Vancouver School of Art and during the 1980s the artist moved to the Manhattan East Village, where he came into contact with artists such as Bickerton, Burdeny, Brown, Ong and others. Schuyff's works are held in the collections of MOMA (New York), Metropolitan Museum (New York), MOCA (Los Angeles), Moderna Museet (Stockholm), Broad Museum (Los Angeles) and other institutions.
