Scocchera Alfredo (Baselice, Benevento, 1887 - Milan, 1955) Alfredo Scocchera attended the Academy of Perugia and subsequently followed courses at the School of Decorative and Industrial Arts in Florence. The artist's pictorial style is characterized by the use of pasty and rapid brushstrokes in the representation of the landscapes and city views of the city of Milan, to which he moved in 1921. He was one of the protagonists in the exhibitions of the Artistic Family and of the Permanente, and set up some personal exhibitions at the Micheli Gallery (1928; 1932), the Bolzani Gallery (1945), the Ranzini Gallery (1952).
