Sebron Hippolyte Victor (Caudebec-en-Caux, 1801 - Paris, 1879) Hippolyte Sebron was a French painter and photographer. He specialized above all in portraits, landscapes, views and photographs. He was a pupil of Lèon Cognet and Louis Daguerre and during his life he undertook many journeys in Europe, along the Mediterranean coasts and in North America, where he painted numerous interiors of buildings, ruins and landscapes. His works were exhibited in the United States, where he achieved great success. He was also awarded several times at the "Salon" in Paris.
