The turbulent period in the company's history, characterized by several economic crises, ended in 1973 when it was acquired by Maurizio Albarelli. Currently, the company is owned by Gianluca Seguso. Having joined the company in 1945, Flavio Poli dramatically transformed the program to make it fresh and contemporary. Seguso Vetri D'Arte thus becomes the first glass factory in Murano. Flavio Poli's designs fit perfectly with the zeitgeist of the 50s and 60s. Winning the most prestigious awards, including the Milan Triennale and the Venice Biennale, his glass creations are now being launched globally.
