Lidya Silvestri Biography

Lydia Silvestri was born in Chiuro (Sondrio) on 8 May 1929. After art high school she trained at the Brera Academy, a student of Marino Marini. He taught sculpture at the Bath Academy of Art in England from 1953–54 and 1963–64. He taught sculpture in New York in 1960 and in Hong Kong in 1961. Professor at the Brera Academy for the teaching of sculpture from 1966 to 1985.
