Maria Luisa Simone Biography

Maria Luisa Simone (1938 - ) born in Pavia in 1938, is a painter. His works are characterized by a poetic vision of reality, through an exhibition in which his sensitivity as an artist in love with nature and increasingly inspired by nature is intensely revealed. Her pictorial story is expressly figurative, a stylistic feature that allows her to portray nature in its richest aspects of charm and beauty. What strikes the sensitivity of this painter is the stupendous and phantasmagorical world of colors that invests nature and in which the landscape takes on an almost fairy-tale appearance. On the contrary, everything is real: the trees, the flowers, the countryside, the rivers, the animals and so on are real; the ability to interpret the various subjects without letting oneself be overcome by self-satisfaction is real, but rather with the precise desire to elevate the soul to the contemplation of beauties beyond any aesthetic suggestion. The predominant character of expressionist tendencies can be found in the use of color in an anti-naturalistic manner, i.e. in the use of hues, free from any reference to the chromatic tones of objective reality.
