Alberto Smania Biography

In 1967, Alberto Smania, a well-known official Fiat rally driver and founder of the company, created the first small table in his artisan workshop of railings and gates using leftovers from iron processing. It is precisely from this invention that the essence of Smania is born, a company that stands out for its authentic passion for aesthetics, the constant search for innovation and attention to detail. The use of wood was soon introduced and the range of products expanded, ranging from tables to bookcases, from seats to beds and furnishings for the sleeping area. In 1972, Smania participated in its first Salone del Mobile in Milan, a moment that marked the affirmation of the brand and determined its international renown, making it one of the points of reference in the sector, going beyond the Italian borders.
