Giorgio Sperotto was born in Vicenza on 24 November 1945. Having attended classical high school, he obtained the master's qualification which allowed him to be a permanent teacher at elementary schools for twenty years, from 1968 to 1988, with all the stimuli that this order of school involves. After two years at the university at the faculty of literature, he dedicated himself totally to painting and his profession, constantly trying to combine concreteness and creativity.
