Ilona Staller Biography
Ilona Staller was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1951. After briefly attending university for archaeology, she decided to pursue a career as a model. Thanks to her exceptional beauty, she was selected by the Budapest photographic agency, the "Mti", which represents the best fifty Hungarian models. At less than twenty years old, she was crowned Miss Hungary. In 1974, Staller moved to Italy with the aim of becoming a successful photomodel. However, his dream is interrupted when he meets Riccardo Schicchi, author, producer and director of pornographic films, who becomes his mentor in the industry. Together they host the night program "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi" for the radio station Radioluna, where the character of Cicciolina was born, which became a cult among the fans of the program and brought her to the media spotlight. During her career, Cicciolina has appeared on numerous covers such as "la Repubblica" and "Oggi" and has collaborated with the most famous artists in the sector, including Moana Pozzi and Rocco Siffredi. In June 1991, Jeff Koons dedicated a work of art to Cicciolina and married her, their son Ludwig was born. Their marriage falls apart and a long legal battle for custody of the child breaks out, which ends with Staller's victory in 1998. In recent years, Cicciolina has continued her artistic activity mainly through performances and, in 2002, she ran unsuccessfully in the Hungarian parliamentary elections. Subsequently, he attempted to run for mayor of Monza and, subsequently, of Milan but these initiatives were also unsuccessful.
