Cesare Stefani (1909 - 1992) was born in Lucca in 1909. Having graduated from classical high school and graduated in literature, he attended the studio of Felice Carena and began to participate in the first painting exhibitions in 1934. After the war he began a path of research which from chromaticism material reaches, through various techniques, abstractionism and then returns to realism. There are various prizes and exhibitions in Italy and abroad, we mention a few: Lerici, La Spezia, Pontedera, Orvieto, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Prato, Hamburg, Viareggio, Brussels, Rotterdam, The Hague, Bergamo, Venice, Frankfurt, Cologne etc. His works are present in many public and private collections in Italy and abroad.
