Tafuri Raffaele (Salerno, 1857 - Venice, 1929) Raffaele Tafuri was an Italian artist of the second half of the 19th century. He studied at the Institute of Fine Arts and in the 1990s he moved to Venice, preferring paintings made from life with views of cities, interior scenes and landscapes, especially Venetian ones, characterized by bright touches and typically Neapolitan color tones. He exhibited in numerous exhibitions in Milan, Turin, Rome and Naples. In 1905 he took up a studio in Pedavena (Belluno) where he created rural landscapes, which he subsequently presented at the Venetian biennials.
