Roberto Tassi, born in Naples in 1921 and died in Esine in 1996, lived in Parma, with long summer stays in the nearby countryside. Graduated in medicine, he practiced the profession of ENT doctor, which he then gradually abandoned to dedicate himself to his prevailing artistic-literary interests. He was director of the magazine “Palatina”; artistic editor of “L'Approdo Letterario”; editor of “Paragone” and of the magazine “Il Terzo Occhio”; art critic of "Il Mondo" and of the newspaper "la Repubblica" from 1977 to 1996.
