Born in Castelfranco Veneto in 1868. He completed his classical studies in Vicenza but his thoughts often turned to art, to which, after enlisting as a Bersagliere, he dedicated himself with passion. He made his debut, after just one year of study, in Milan, at the Brera Triennale in 1894, and in 1896 he exhibited in Turin and Florence; in 1897 in Milan and was present in the same year at the Venezia Internazionale with: "Poesia della sera" and "Addio sole"; still in Venice, in 1899 he exhibited "Il turbine", and in 1903, "Il Pelmo".
