Lino Tine' Biography
The abstract sculptor, Lino Tinè, was born in Floridia (SR) in 1932, but lives and works in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan). A student of Ferruccio Ferri and Salvo Monica, he obtained a diploma at the School of Art of Syracuse, together with Angelo Cassia, Vittorio Lucca, Paolo Scirpa, Pippo Spinoccia, Tano Fortuna and Vittorio Giaracca; subsequently he graduated from the Art Institute of Florence and the BB.AA Academy. of Brera-Milan ('56), student of the sculptor Marino Marini. He was part of Grupp "V" (Bozzola, Cambiaire, Davanzo, Laks, Pichette) in an anthological exhibition at Palazzo dei Diamanti (Ferrara, '74). His first collective exhibition, the exhibition of sacred art (Caltanissetta, '53) and the Marzotto Prize (Rome, '53). His first solo exhibition: Galleria Fondaco (Messina, '60). He participated in the IX Quadrennial (Rome, '65), Biennial of Bronze (Padua, '67, '75), Salon de Mai (Paris, '70, '71, '72), Biennial of Sculpture (Campione d'Italia, '75, '78), During his career he participated in further noteworthy exhibitions.
