Onofrio Tomaselli (Bagheria, 3 August 1866 – Palermo, 21 March 1956) was an Italian painter. He was the master of several generations of Sicilian painters of the early twentieth century including Alfonso Amorelli, but also of another painter from Bagheria, Renato Guttuso, who by his own admission considered the painting entitled I Carusi as a point of reference for the creation of La Zolfara , of realist inspiration, which Tomaselli presented in 1906 at the International Exhibition of Milan and which is today located at the Sant'Anna Gallery of Modern Art in Palermo.
