Born in Rome in 1934, he began painting in 1950. After twelve years his first solo exhibition was held at the L'Obelisco Gallery in Rome. Thus he began to exhibit his works in many famous Italian galleries and in artistic exhibitions such as: the Michetti Painting Prize of Francavilla a Mare in 1966, Tempo dell'Immagine in Bologna in 1967, the Fourth Biennial of Bolzano in 1971, the of Art in Rome in 1973, Italianische Realisten in Berlin in 1974, Genesi e Processo d'Immagine in Milan in 1979, L'Opera Dipinta 1960-80 in Parma in 1982.
