Antonio Trentanove was a sculptor and plasterer born in Rimini around 1745. After training at the Clementina Academy, he dedicated himself above all to stucco decoration, becoming known for this activity. His neoclassical style allowed him to complete some reliefs under the supervision of Felice Giani at Palazzo Laderchi in Faenza. Other of his works can be found in the church of San Girolamo in Rimini, in the church of Santa Lucia in Forlì and in the Palazzo Milzetti in Faenza. Trentanove spent some years in Massa Marittima before dying in Carrara in 1812.
